    Pros

    Great working environment.
Lots of activities going on within to keep employees satisfied.
Moving around in the company is great, which allows learning different areas of a corp.

    Cons

Due to lack of manpower, workload is heavy.
Company structure needs to be worked on for greater efficiency.

    Advice to Management

Run a tight ship and bridge the gaps between groups of SEL.

    Pros

Company with global brand name. It's definitely a boost to your resume to have Sony listed as an employer.

    Cons

Class system between SEL employees and contractors. To much politics, bureaucracy and CYA going around instead of actually working. No communication between departments and no real work-life balance, even if they claim to do it.

    Advice to Management

Cut down on your contractors, you "train" them for a year and then send off to be hired by competitors. You are bleeding out top talent which costs you (Sony) more money because when you bring in a new guy or gal to fill the position left by the previous contractor it takes them 2-3 months to fully assimilate into the positions responsibilities.
