Former Employee – worked at Sophis

Pros – Still has a startup-like spirit, yet with huge clients and incredibly varied technical challenges. Quickly leaves responsibilities to employees who demonstrate they're trustworthy, regardless of official seniority.

Cons – Some of the code base is pretty old, with multiple branches being maintained in parallel (which prevents from refactoring old code).

Advice to Senior Management – It might be worth trying new approaches to hire senior developers (Sophis has a long tradition of hiring junior developers, who take time to train), maybe using new hiring channels...
