I have been working at Souper Salad

    Pros

Um... if you do the hiring, you can get some great people around you.
oh, and lunch/dinner is free (pretty good soups and salads)

    Cons

Those great people won't work for minimum wage for too long, so keep the now hiring sign up.

1 year, 4 district managers... not a good sign for stability.

LOOOONG hours, LOOOOW pay. break it down and the servers are making more per hour than you... but thats true for most restaurant management jobs. The Job title isn't worth it. Swallow your pride and wait tables. You'll have more free time, and probably more money at the end of the week.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

All respect to Tim Taft. I was impressed with his leadership and Vision of where we needed to go.
He got out, when the getting was good. Happy retirement "Little Timmy Taft". You did the best you could with you had to work with. (p.s. still love a good Whataburger for breakfast on my way to work)

Advice to Ward: get rid of the dead weight. Close the stores that drag you down and focus on the money making stores (and Franchise stores)

    I worked at Souper Salad

    Pros

This is a buffet style restaurant concept so it's great if you enjoy buffets.

    Cons

The company has seen senior management turnover every few years for the last 10 years

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Spend the money to upgrade/remodel your restaurants.
