Southern California Edison – “professional work place

Dec 19, 2008

4.0

Southern California Edison Intern in San Dimas, CA:   (Past Employee - 2006)

Pros

When I first started working there it was really cut straight and dry. You have to really work hard to get ahead and push to show your work to upper mangement. Trying to enjoy working there was hard because of all the older co-workers. If you really want to get some where in the professional world and have a great company on your resume work for SCE.

Cons

The company doesnt have value in the balence between work and play. SCE is about productivity and efficenity. Alot of the mangement positions are all about work work work and no play. Also trying to get a day off for vaction is a joke, you really have to plan years in advance.

Advice to Senior Management

Add fire to the work place. The work place is always too cut straight and dry. Change it up a bit
