    Pros

Smart people, good salary. There are lots of folks who are working hard and trying to move the energy industry forward.

    Cons

It's totally unstable and there's no real thought given to culture. Executives seem much more short-sighted than in days past. People are incredibly expendable. They waste an incredible amount of customer money on projects that never see the light of day, and by waffling on major and even minor decisions.

    Advice to Management

    Run.

  2. Good company with good compensation but energy market is changing!

    Pros

Good company with good management (at least at the plant level). Good ethics and good moral workers. Above average employees and above average salary. Generally a better than average company to work for.

    Cons

Corporate seems to act independently and in contrast to what is good for the plant(s). But as the CEO said they are basically a "wires" company (I.e. not generation). Best to work for corporate and not at the plant level. Pay raises we're usually minimal if you were above the "mid point" for your pay class.
