Pros

Good company with good management (at least at the plant level). Good ethics and good moral workers. Above average employees and above average salary. Generally a better than average company to work for.

Cons

Corporate seems to act independently and in contrast to what is good for the plant(s). But as the CEO said they are basically a "wires" company (I.e. not generation). Best to work for corporate and not at the plant level. Pay raises we're usually minimal if you were above the "mid point" for your pay class.

    Pros

SCE takes great pride to ensure everyone goes home safely without injuries. Safety is at the top of our list and our leadership team emphasizes that repeatedly.

    Cons

Work/life balance can be better. A little slow in innovation. Disparity in pay within the same role family.

    Advice to Management

Be more approachable by doing a "management by walking around". Speak to those that do the actual work and find out what can be improved. Don't micromanage unless it's needed.

  2. Great Experience
