    Pros

Many good employees! They want to do a good job and are loyal to Edison.

    Cons

Management view of women is retro to the 1960's. Be quiet and be subservient, you may escape the arbitrary judgement of upper management.
Values are defined, but do not apply senior, illustrated on a daily basis.

I have been working at Southern California Edison as an intern for more than 3 years

    Pros

Lots of professional experience in the power industry. They do things thoroughly and safely. A lot of intelligent hardworking people, and a few very good managers. If you do good work, and produce value you have very excellent job security, the power industry is quite stable.

    Cons

Slow growth. Sometimes there is a lot of politics among managers. A lot of slack in the company with extra departments and middle management. They recently cleaned house and eliminated a lot of unnecessary employees.

Moving up in the company can be a slow process, since it is a lifelong career

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Keep up the excellent quality and safety management but eliminate some of the bureaucracy
