Probably pretty good place to work, if your not a contractor.

I have been working at Southern Company as a contractor (more than an year)

    Pros

    - Flexible Schedule
    - Really no hard to reach dead lines
    - Laid back atmosphere

    Cons

    - If your a contractor your more or less a hired slave, they keep you around for only as long as they need you and cut you loose.
    - Direct employees kick back and allow you to do the majority of the work while they get all of the benefits.
    - You are not on the same level as direct employee and are looked at as not equal.
    - The will tell you how much they value you and how much your needed, but when you ask about coming on direct, there is always an excuse

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Get off you butt and see who really is getting your work done. Odds are, it's not who you think. Contractors carry your company and many of them that have been on board for a number of years are getting very frustrated with the continued run around.

    Doesn't Recommend
    Negative Outlook
    Disapproves of CEO
