I have been working at Southern Poverty Law Center

    Pros

You're working for the best civil rights organization in the country. There are so many pros about working there, but above all, it's an amazing place for a civil rights litigator.

    Cons

Because it's a civil rights organization located in the South, if you're uninterested in living in South it might not be the best fit. Still, as someone from another part of the country, working for SPLC superseded any apprehension about living in the South.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    None.

I have been working at Southern Poverty Law Center full-time

    Pros

Great facility, all the resources you need, and incredibly smart people

    Cons

I often felt under utilized and would have preferred more project based work.
