    Cons

The pay was pretty bad in any position outside of operations

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

It's been a while since I worked here but try to pay people at least an average rate for the jobs they do.

I have been working at Southland Industries

    Pros

401k match, bonuses are ok. hr team is pretty good, if you are a favorite you will get some really nice perks.

    Cons

communication is terrible, management doesn't take time to mentor employees, no sense of team. management plays favorites. vacation time is dismal.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Get rid of all of the offices and return to open floor concept to increase communication. Give employees work like balance by offering work from home and flex time benefits. Establish a mentoring program.
