Former Employee - Ground Operations Emergency Response in Dallas, TX

Pros

Great environment, Wonderful facilities. Best coworkers anyone could ask for. Extremely diverse crowd, one of every kind. Amazing resources for self education. Great documentation overall.

Cons

Slow to move ideas through red tape. Felt like advancement was more based upon waiting a certain amouont of time rather than merit / performance.

Advice to ManagementAdvice

You have some of the best employees that still have more to give than just ideas. Look to tap (not over tax) into and get the most from your employees and ALL of their talents.

Current Employee - Service Coordinator in Phoenix, AZ

    Pros

Wonderful benefits, freedom to fly about the country, flexible hours, great opportunities. We work hard, and play hard...and LUV every minute!

    Cons

Salary is not terrific, but the benefits make up for a lot

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Keep the communication flowing, clear, concise and to the point. Doing this well now but would like a little more in depth in certain areas

Do well, and we'll give you more responsibilities and no additional pay!

Former Employee - Customer Representative in San Antonio, TX

    Pros

Decent and inexpensive benefits (medical, health and free flights -- standby!), good camaraderie. Different events to show the company's "appreciation" of you,

    Cons

Very low starting wage. Be careful of the union not protecting you for the first 7 or so months of your job. In the reservation center, if you do well, expect that you'll be asked for more responsibility but without any sort of pay increase despite dealing with pissed off customers and co-workers asking ridiculous questions despite having over 5-10+ years more tenure than yourself.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Modernize your systems, especially the webste so that your site doesn't go down during EVERY sale. It's time to clean house of some of your more tenured employees who know less than the newbies on the floor.
