Pros

Hands on experience, chance to take on big challenges at all experience levels. Fast pace. Employees are rewarded for taking on responsibility.

Cons

Senior Management quick to react to the market, but slow to adapt. Missed corporate opportunities in the name of saving a buck and keeping an over-tight balance sheet. The company has grown fast over the last 5 years and is still experiencing many growing pains.

    Pros

Salaries and pay meet industry standards. Also, benefits, particularly vacation benefits, are slightly better than average. For the most part, co-workers are great.

    Cons

Management only wants results. How results are achieved is not important. Therefore, safety is not important. Adherring to federal, state, local, or even in-house regulation is not important. Those who violate safety standards and regulation get the promotions, while those who do "the right thing' find their careers languishing, and sometimes are threatened with dismissal.

    Advice to Management

Karl Marx's philisophy, "the ends justify the means" is a poor management tool.

  2. Good company with good people, nice place to work, but hard to change roles within the company

    Good Leadership

    Cons

Poor career management, many people end up leaving due to lack of mobility within the company

Mangage careers from day 1 to maintain your work force
