I have been working at Special Counsel as a contractor (less than a year)

Pros

May get hired quickly based on need/urgency. Hours are flexible, depending on the project, you can make a decent amount, no strict rules on dress code (for the project I worked on), good way for attorneys to work between permanent jobs

Cons

Work is quite monotonous. Little human interaction. Pay is not that high, No health insurance until 6 mos of service

Advice to ManagementAdvice

Try to negotiate higher pay for contractors.

    Cons

Its just not a great job, but its not their fault.
