    Pros

great benefits, some excellent people to work with, leading healthcare hospital in the community

    Cons

Worked for SH for just shy of 10 years. In those 10 years, the organization has grown by leaps and bounds...to the benefit of the community, but to the detrement of it's staff. SH wants to be the best, brightest and biggest and that's great. But, the senior leadership is breaking the backs of it's essential and hard working staff. You are expected to more and more with shrinking resources, less staffing. I'm not against hard work but when that hard work is not recognized or, worse yet, not matched by senior leadership...it makes for a very adversarial place to work. Some leadership are too busy trying to claw their way to the top of the organization that they do not care who gets caught in the crosshairs or who they step on to get there.
