Spherion Operations Account Manager in Little Rock, AR:   (Current Employee)

Pros

The only reason to work here is because as you look for another job, people will know your currently working and you can use that to negotiate the salary you desire.

Cons

The company is not doing well. Micromanagement and distrust of employees - the branch managers have ruined any morale. People are just going through the motions until the get another job or the economy picks up. But right now there is not much business, and what little there is, every other company is after. As a recruiter your supposed to submit 10 people a week. Thats 2 per day. 1 every 4 hours. Thats not right. It might take 1 week just to find 1 candidate for a specific job. So we are doing 20 weeks worth of recruiting in just 1 week. We just submit anything to get credit and keep the wolves off our backs.
