Spherion – “Work Here Only As a Last Resort”

Pros

The clients are generally strong companies and working for Spherion gave me the opportunity to get my foot in the door at a well respected company.

Cons

Poor communication from management regarding my assignment and other employment opportunities within the organization. I never received a call or an e-mail from a supervisor to check in or see how my assignment was going. Nor did they try and find another position for me after my contract ended.

No benefits.

Frequent staff changes in management so I was unable to develop any sort of relationship with my supervisor or anyone else.

Advice to Senior Management

Give your employees benefits. This is my number one complaint and the reason why I wouldn't work for Spherion again.
