    Pros

Great brands. Many people worked very hard with an on going lack of leadership or business strategy.

    Cons

Lack of strategy, constant financial challenges, decreasing traffic, C level executive revolving door.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Sell/Merge with a strategic partner to revive perception.

4 CEO's in 18 Months. "Spin" is the right name for this company...like the way water spins as it goes down the drain.

    Pros

Hey look, you're working in the music and entertainment industry just like you always dreamed.

    Cons

Management not really in control / building anything of integrity, just trying to keep the lights on using a hodge podge of technology. As ad revenues shift away from their desktop based business and towards mobile/native advertising, they lack enough inventory or technology to really make a go of it. Editorial still enamored with the idea of working for an old/iconic print magazine - journalists snub talent that "broke on the internet" because that's "not legit".

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Be done. Sell off the assets so the brands can have a new life in a better home.
