I worked at Splunk full-time (less than an year)

    Pros

High growth, smart people and a company that is at the top of its market

    Cons

Some of the VPs have questionable ethics, agreeing to bring on people but then cutting their employment right before their start date after the have already given notice to their former employer because someone "new" came in the front door.

    I worked at Splunk full-time

    Pros

-People who truly want to believe in the technology
    -People who work hard
    -Strong IPO
-Many user groups and marketing events

    Cons

-The worst managerial staff in technology
-Easily the most under qualified HR and administrative staff
-I can do this with open source technology
-I left because the product is no longer competitive. As a result management is trying very hard to save and cut corners, making employees' lives miserable. Warning to anyone looking to join the sales team.
