I have been working at Splunk as a contractor (less than a year)

    Pros

Great people, good work/life balance, nice environment with challenging technical tasks and big plans for the future

    Cons

Splunk is not as flexible as I would like it to be. It's a big company, so that's inevitable but I think it should have more flexibility in all bases.

I have been working at Splunk full-time (more than a year)

    Pros

Splunk has a great product, many employees who are individual cont5ributors are professional and committed

    Cons

Atmosphere of fear and brown-nosing dominates the office,, EMEA management have no clue and is clearly of of their depth, the company US- and short-term focused with no international vision.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Get a new VP EMEA in, listen to the market and be humbler.
