Pros

-Flexible Hours to accommodate busy schedules -Generous discounts for employees, friends and families -Good way to learn about equipment if your into fitness and sports

Cons

-Pay rate for this retail store based in Atlanta is barely over the minimum wage mark -Pressured by management to sell warranties and add on items -No recognition for hard work and excellent sales/job performance. Job advancement would probably never happen.

    Pros

25% discount was amazing Cost days are great for Christmas time Worked with some of the best people I could ever ask for.

    Cons

Crazy hours, but it is retail High turn over rates Not enough training Benefits could be a lot better

    Advice to Management

This directed at Corporate and no one else I worked at stores 536 in Alexandria, VA ($13 million) and Store 598 in Omaha, NE ($3.0 million) The people in Englewood need to actually spend a day in a store and actually get to know how things actually work. Quit moving things around every six months doesn't help at all and only confuses the employees, that actually do the work. Offer more benefits (holiday pay would be a nice start) and let managers actuallly make decisions.

Not a terrible place to work, but the corporate mentality in some departments is cutthroat.

    Pros

Some of the people are fantastic. In the advertising department, you work with such a vast variety of people -- it is really a great mix.

    Cons

Somewhere back in the day, someone in management instilled a real blame mentality so there are people who will quickly throw you under the bus if it means saving their necks.

    Advice to Management

Get the team in a place where they have each other's backs again rather than the infighting that can occur.
