I have been working at Springfield Clinic full-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

Annual performance reviews with up to 4% increases, salary surveys conducted each year to ensure compensation is still competitive. Many perks and benefits, and many great people within the organization. Srong corporate culture and understanding of company values.

    Cons

Private company and physician-owned practice so funds are closely monitored. Also, several departments are micro-managed while others can get away with little to no work.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Departments should be allocated annual budgets for morale boosting and offering performance incentives. If the staff want to have a department Christmas party, or do something nice for employee birthdays it has to come out of each individual manager's pocket.
