Cons

pay, salary, pretty much everything else is a con.

    Pros

    Free mobile phone service.
If you work in IT or Network Services you'll have the opportunity to play with all sorts of hardware.
Nascar visits campus when the races come to Kansas City each year.
Invent something. You get a few thousand $$$, Sprint gets the patent assignment.

    Cons

Too many people who are happy to do the minimum, coasting all the way through a project.
Too many reorganization initiatives leads to confusion about a workgroups mission.
Some leaders tend to resort to empire building in order to "stake their claim".

    Advice to Management

Flatten the org chart. It's not necessary to have two levels of manager plus a supervisorr or two under each director. Also, stop waiting until mid-December to execute layoffs. Nobody wants to look for a job during the holiday rush
