Great company, with good pay.

Retail Sales Consultant (Current Employee)
Saint Louis, MO

I have been working at Sprint full-time for more than a year

ProsThe pay is great, depending how much you came from and depending on how much you can sell. It is sales oriented but quotas aren't terrible. Sales experience will get you much farther and at least for me, I have great managers.

ConsThere are some politics that go into promotions, but you can get past that as it isn't too bad. Sometimes Sprint handicaps the reps in that they offer the bare minimum for the types of cases ect we can sell, while best buy and such have a huge selection. Other than that, the company is being turned around and as that happens our compensation seems to go up a bit with it.

Advice to Senior ManagementGet more in touch with the people who are actually selling. As what they need to sell more , ask what could we use more of to sell (colors case type ect). Accessories are a huge thing for our industry, make sprint stand out against the rest by picking a niche (audio apparently) and making it known we do that the best

Yes, I would recommend this company to a friend – I'm optimistic about the outlook for this company
