I have been working at Sprint full-time for more than 10 years

Pros

Great people, lots of opportunity for projects, training. Company is family friendly, most managers support work-life balance. Lots of opportunity to work across groups/business units if you want it.

Cons

not a lot of upward mobility, as not a lot of the managers/directors move around (except for re-orgs). In some departments 'it's not my job' os the mantra, which can be frustrating when you want to get job done well.

I have been working at Sprint part-time for more than 5 years

    Pros

Decent pay for part time work for college students. The benefits are pretty good and the free cell phone bill helps out.

    Cons

No matter how well your doing in hitting your goals, their is always something you can do better. This is how the management reviews your performance. Most of the goals are set so will barely hit them, unless you don't mind screwing customers over. They want you to manipulate, slam customers with stuff they don't need, sell them over priced accessories. The goals is $60/handset, and customers who wont purchase accessories are often lied to, such that they are told the phone isn't in stock, and directed to purchase at a competitor (best buy) or online. $0.33 pay increase in 5.5 years of service, while 'goals' keep getting more difficult to attain. Very high turnover as employees are not appreciated whatsoever.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Lighten up, were just selling phones.
