I worked at Sprint full-time for more than a year

Pros

good pay, great people to work with and benefits are on par with other companies

Cons

Customers are absolutely horrendous, knowledge base is terrible and if you are not on a good team then it may be difficult to perform with Superstar status

I have been working at Sprint full-time for more than 8 years

    Pros

well rounded and affordable benefits offers including service discounts for friends and family. somehow manages to keep employees for a long time, and the managers and store employees are close knit and family type environment inside their own store.

    Cons

company talks about personal and work life balance, but does not set an environment where you can actually have healthy balance. one vp or director says "jump" and your dm is down your throat. can't select a few things to focus on, want you to excel at 100 things simultaneously. no merit increases offered in 6 years---increases are given to create parady for those who accepted positions below "market average"

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Get real! Your salary/commission structure is low compared to your competition, and you have to pick a few big things to focus on! The people in the store are creating your success; they should be the best treated people in the company.

I have been working at Sprint full-time for more than 8 years

    Pros

As with many large Fortune 100 corporations, it is difficult to stand out. However, when you do the rewards far outweigh those of a small business. Benefits are good to great compared to other corporations in other industries.

    Cons

Again, hard to stand out from the crowd. Years and several opportunities will pass until a promotion occurs. The good and deserving ones wait it out.
