Great at the store level, but not at the corporate level.

I worked at Sprint full-time for more than a year

Pros

It is a wonderful and competitive experience in the store. There are many opportunities to improve and grow within the company.

Cons

As an individual, you will not be rewarded with much respect, and the company itself is not loyal to their employees.

I worked at Sprint full-time for less than a year

    Pros

If you're looking for a job that requires little experience; this is the job. Its not hard to get hired and its better than being jobless and its nice to have a full-time job.

Its a great job if you're straight out of high school. but I would not recommend this to people who want to make real money. Go to a corporate store if you want to make serious money.

    Cons

The commission structure is terrible. The owners are jokes. Upper management, DM and Senior DM are great people but they are stuck doing what they can with owners who have no idea what they are doing.

This company will hire you and promise you promotions and awesome/competitive commission. In reality, none of that is delivered. This company had the audacity to change the commission structure in the middle of the month after all the employees signed their commission contracts. Luckily the employees caught on and were able to get that reversed. I guess the owners would not think that the employees would know that, that was illegal.

The hourly is terrible also. You have have a lot of experience and education but the most they will give you is 11.00 hourly.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

To the owners. your company is a joke. There is no reason for you to be in this business. This being your second attempt at owning a cellphone company will fail just like your first attempt.

I have been working at Sprint

    Pros

Quick advancement and access to learn a lot about sales. Opportunity to meet a lot of friends

    Cons

Management deals with you on a daily basis. YOu could sell 20 units on a Tuesday and be praised to the gods. The next day you can't sell a thing so you get shunned as a leper. People stab each other in the back, yell at you on the sales floor, give you responsibilities outside of your pay grade.
