Sprint was a wonderful company to work for. Great pay and benefits. I enjoyed working several Big Box accounts.

I worked at Sprint

Pros

The company has structure and is professional compared to other organizations. Great work/life balance.

Cons

Working weekends sometimes. Crazy working season from Black Friday through the end of the year. Also it's black out time for any vacation or several days off during that time.

Advice to ManagementAdvice

Jay Weaver was my direct manager in the Indirect Channel. One of the best managers I ever had! I'd work for him anytime.

    Pros

    Other individual contributors are great
    Great long-term company goals
Flexible work hours/location depending on manager

    Cons

    - Commission pay cap that you can appeal but there are no real rules to if you qualify - in sales, what is the point if you can't make money when your deals are highly profitable?!
    - Terrible training
    - Inferior product
    - Management highly varies (for some reason engineers make good sales managers?)
    - "old boys club" where you only get good accounts if you have a friend, and they take accounts away with too much potential
    - Engineers who are lazy and not knowledgeable
    - Lack of support for normal care or deployments

    Doesn't Recommend
    Negative Outlook
    Approves of CEO
