Pros

- Company has great resources & training available for Sales
- Compensation & commissions were competitive,benefits average
- Staff in all other depts are extremely helpful and infomative

Cons

- The company didn't have a great reputation for customer service & devices
- Tough sale in the tech savvy areas SF, Silicon Valley

Advice to ManagementAdvice

Hire more managers with actual sales experience so they can relate better & train staff better.

    I worked at Sprint full-time (more than 10 years)

    Pros

    Was at one time an outstanding engineering company with considerable thought given to best in class network and products. Over the years the company has lost its way. There seems to be real confusion as to the companies own identity and where they are going from a technology standpoint.

    Cons

    Company is struggling with budgets and its ability to compete with AT&T and Verizon in both wireline and wireless technologies. Sprint has not kept up with refreshing their product offerings and is simply not competitive. Even much smaller companies have cloud offerings that are more flexible and faster to deploy

    I worked at Sprint full-time (more than 10 years)

    Pros

    When I started with US Telecom (before it became Sprint), it was a wonderful company where the employees had a strong say in the development of the company. Management always had an open door policy and your thoughts and comments were well rec'd.

    Cons

    As the company changed names several times, the rules and regulations changed also. By the time I was laid off, management was horrible. The treatment of the employees was not good and/or fair. Now to speak with ex-coworkers, it is worse than when I left.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Treat your workers like you want to be treated. To have everyone working in fear for keeping their jobs is not the way!
