Pros

can be a laid back environment at times, good people to work with.

Cons

management is very sneaky and will promise you many things just to keep you around without fulfilling their promises.

Advice to Management

hold yourselves to a higher standard. there are plenty of ways to run a company, while walking all over your employees is one of them, its not exactly good for appearances once you become notorious for it...

    Pros

Mostly fun company to work for, employee discount a huge plus. Small, friendly feeling stores.

    Cons

Company has moved from a fun, rewarding, career to that of a typical retail grocery store. Unreasonably high standards/expectations with little to no compensation. Expectations to work as many hours as one would expect in an 80,000 sq foot building, making considerably less than those companies offer. 50+ different programs you are expected to maintain daily...making sure we cross merchandise in other departments without taking away from the other department, while keeping the store decluttered.

    Advice to Management

Get back to basics. Put the emphasis back on employees having fun while still producing. I can personally say I do my best to help the people below me to reduce the workload and stress on them. There is no reason someone making 8.50 an hour should be completely stressed out about what they did wrong, or not good enough.

    Pros

Job security and a seven day work week - double edged sword

    Cons

Grocery store environment with an abundance of leech employees

    Advice to Management

    Restructure...
