    wish we did not have to locate own clients

    surprisingly knowledge persons have that could preform jobs that are not even offered to the general staff

    Pros

    Feeling of helping people in need. Decent benefits package. Good communication from higher-ups to rank and file employees. Occasional work-related educational opportunities paid for by hospital.

    Cons

    Few opportunities for the lower ranks to advance. Doctors and executives get treated and paid far better than other employees. Not the cleanest place to work. Upper management outsources as much work as possible and does not have any qualms about laying off/firing employees who have been with them for decades and are excellent employees.

    Advice to Management

    More effort should be made to solicit opinions from all employees and not hand down dictates from on high. Management pays a lot of lip service to employee surveys, but nothing much ever seems to come of it. "My way or the highway" is the usual attitude here. Patronizing attitude from supervisors and managers to the rank and file.
