Pros

NONE- I found this team to be very rude

Cons

The interview panel did not ALLOW for any questions from the candidate- Why is this a one way interview? Candidates should have the opportunity to ask questions

Advice to ManagementAdvice

Coach your HR Teams as well as your Recruiters that candidates have choices- especially in OC-Don't forget the candidates out there are users of your hospital and pay your bills so be respectful- the Dir of Recruiting should know this!

    St. Joseph knows how to treat their employees. They do a great job empowering their employees to make things happen.

    I have been working at St. Joseph Health System full-time for more than 8 years

    Pros

    Some very caring, competent people. Usually try to give staff backup. Fair compensation package with attempt to keep employees healthy.

    Cons

    Financial picture is bleak due to recent purchase of EMR that overburdened the entire company. They had to make draconian cuts which have been made before. As a result, the office staff is at a bare minimum and stress level is high. Prepare to work overtime! HR will always back up management in a conflict!

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Do not blame the nurses for problems they did not create! They do not come to work thinking "how can I do a bad job today?" They are working as hard as possible (most of them)
