    Pros

Proactive initiative of employees is supported by St. Jude Medical's management. Although the company is a Fortune 500 company, bureaucracy is very little. This and the companies culture creates a great and supportive work environment.

    Cons

St. Jude does not have a formalized Leadership Development Program as other Fortune 500 companies. Employers are more responsible to develop their leadership development together with their managers.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

St. Jude Medicals leadership is doing a fantastic job to strategically position the company well in times when competitors have to adjust their strategies.

I have been working at St. Jude Medical

    Pros

Company is still small enough for quick decision making and has room to make a positive impact. Work is meaningful, and the majority of the people working there are friendly and nice.

    Cons

Organizational structure itself creates frictions hindering growth and efficiency; lack of communication of direction from the senior management, lack of alignment, transparency, and accountability; not a data-driven culture

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Communicate with employees to make sure the vision and priorities and understood; build discipline in decision making and execution; open to different opinions and improvements.
