Former Employee - Relationship Manager in Bur Dubai (United Arab Emirates)

I worked at Standard Chartered Bank full-time for more than 10 years

    Pros

GM identified me as a front line employee and recommended me to HOPB, but HOPB had his own set of favourite employees and dissuaded me from joining Personal Banking and yet played it very smartly with me and not contributing to my growth

    Cons

The most unfair employer, could have been better

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Never give so much importance to your direct reports or line managers always, please also give some chance and lend your ears to the employees too because departmental managers are not always right, they believe in favouritism too.
