I worked at Standard Chartered Bank as a contractor for less than a year

    Pros

Great work environment and colleagues. The direct supervisors/bosses are really caring as well. If you perform well, there are usually rewards. So you can say the compensation package is good.

    Cons

The work can get stressful at times as there are certain standards or targets to be met. Workload is also a lot. But I guess that's why the compensation package is good.

I worked at Standard Chartered Bank as an intern for less than a year

    Pros

Standard Chartered Bank is an international company with extensive network. Therefore, there are open and abundant opportunities to learn about banking, accounting, and IT in accounting & finance. The Bank has a demanding but respectful company culture.

    Cons

Working hours especially during busy seasons could be overwhelmed, making work-life balance harder to manage. There is not much interaction between different departments within the company.

    Recommends
    Neutral Outlook
