Its a bank focussed on emerging markets. Moreover, the bank has done very well during the recent financial crisis. Its growing its wholesale banking business in Asia, Africa and Middle East.

Cons

At times it would be hard for you to make moves internationally. Moreover, in emerging markets you have to fae challenges in terms of non-business frinedly environment and clients not being organized.

Advice to Senior Management

I would advise SCB to list on the Mumbai and Shanghai stock Exchange to get more publicity. Also, they should be looking at potential acquistion targets in China, India and Brazil.
