Flexible work hours, laid back and friendly atmosphere, and steady amount of work make it a good place to work. The business is managed well from the top-down and has growth potential in certain areas.

Cons

Unfortunately, due to the laid back atmosphere innovation is somewhat low. The compensation package is barely competitive and thus talent retainment may become a challenge once the economy improves. Too much importance on reducing expenses. It maybe stifling innovation.

Advice to Senior Management

Ease up compensation now that you have better performance evaluation in place. Hold employees accountable to their goals and attract leading talent using compensation. Promote the strategic leadership program and announce some sort of bonus associated with the program.
