    Pros

Palo Alto is awesome, and the Bay Area is a great place to be. It is a really great environment that you will enjoy.

    Cons

Everyone is really smart here so you always have to be on your game, but that is also a bit of a pro I suppose.

Current Employee - Research Scientist in Palo Alto, CA

    Pros

Some of the best people to work with in the world and access to resources on a much larger scale than many other places

    Cons

The cons are just the usual cons of being in an academic environment. So, need to be self driven, some of the work is very blue sky, non practical, won't make the big bucks... ect
