    Pros

Stanford University is filled with the most creative and innovative minds on the planet. The people are outgoing, the campus is a paradise, the pay is amazing, and the experience is one of a kind.

    Cons

The atmosphere is so forward thinking that it can sometimes be intimidating. People assume that everyone is as intelligent as they are and responsibilities may be given out too early.

    Pros

You get to meet many leaders in many disciplines. Any position at Stanford can easily be used to establish contacts in a desired field.

    Cons

The administration is growing without any active discernment, and it wastes a lot of money. Look out for people who get their foot in and then try to bring in nepotistic connections for positions.
