I have been working at Stanford University full-time for more than 5 years

Pros

very flexible schedule, very good pay for the amount of work. Could learn a ton of different things from all different people. Very good location, very good weather. Great faculty and very creative student. Good facility for doing research.

Cons

Requires a lot of self motivation, if not you could find your self wasting away time in a very not good way.

I have been working at Stanford University full-time for more than 10 years

    Pros

The students are amazingly bright and challenge you to be your best. They are the strongest asset. Colleagues are at the top of their fields across a wide range of disciplines. The campus is beautiful, with a relaxed, laid-back culture. The area has the, best weather in US. Support staff are generally competant and helpful. Physical facilities are great.

    Cons

Decisions often seem to bd made by insiders. Processes are sometimes not as open as they seem.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Spend more money at home on academics. Stop building for 5 minutes.
