Stanford is a great place to do research, and there is a lot of exciting work happening here.

Pros- Surrounded by very smart people
- Lots of exciting research happening everywhere
- Diversity in the student body (undergrad and grad) provides many opportunities for collaboration
- Strong support for entrepreneurship
- Easy access to Silicon Valley investors and companies
- Beautiful campus and weather

Cons- Very expensive to live in the area
- Parking difficult to find if you commute to campus
- Driving within campus is a mess and very slow
- Graduate student pay is low relative to living costs in the area

Advice to Senior ManagementBuild some more parking lots and pay the grad students more, and we'll all be happy!
