    Pros

    Stipend is higher than most graduate schools in other states. TA/RA workload is not high, though it depends on who is your advisor.

    Cons

    Housing rate is too high in bay area. Campus is too large to find food, bar, etc. Peer pressure from hi-tech company colleagues is also high.
