I worked at Stantec

Pros – Stantec provided a reasonable family environment, and allowed me to maintain a very good work life balance. Office camaraderie was fairly high.

Cons – There was little potential for promotion or advancement internally. There was very little turnover among senior management, and growth by acquisition as opposed to organically provided little opportunity to existing employees.

Advice to Senior Management – Consider how the existing resources and expertise of the various practice areas and employees could be leveraged across new industries with similar characteristics.
