I enjoy it there are times were its bad but 80% of the time i dont mind going to work.

Current Employee – been working at Staples

Proseasy to figure out a career plan with your general manager.
there is always room for advancement
the company treats there employees well
the district managers are in constant contact with the stores and are easy going which makes it easier to ask for help or discuss things with.

Constrainings are not always the best. Mainly videos, that repeat the same four lines
constant policies and procedures needed to be remembered or followed.
a lot of the stores look run down and need some serious improvement
needs to be more uniformed between stores.
needs to find a better set up for plans theres way to many which make it disorginized.
the home office needs to work on the hours they allow stores. Running a store on four people a shift isnt the easiest and makes it harder to follow through all the new selling policies.

Advice to Senior ManagementThey need to work on discussing what is not happening or what some one isnt doing right with them and not others. Its hard to be a new key holder and constantly hearing things from cashiers or office supply associates what you need to fix and you managers not work with you to improve.

Yes, I would recommend this company to a friend
