Former Employee – worked at Staples full-time for more than 3 years

Pros – Hours, people, managers, sales bonus, a lot of cute girls hired, flexible

Cons – Over worked, not safety orientated, a lot of mingling between staff and managers, favoritism, low pay, general manager came for 2 hours then disappeared somewhere

Advice to Senior Management – I got a ¢75cent rraise for the four years I worked there, and was asked to cover various department as well as lead furniture dept. Never had a decent raise. I quit because my last raise was a measly ¢15 cents. Train your employees the importance of proper lifting and safety, our staff was really banged up and management never allowed us to wear gloves, back braces, knee pass, etc.
