Pros

Flexible
coworkers were awesome.
company is refocusing to tech.
It was a good job to have while i was in high school

Cons

Management was very wishy washy, they did not care about their employees much at all. Minimum wage for a job that was paying double in other companies. they did not understand how PC repair works and would step into the process all the time.

Advice to ManagementAdvice

Up your salaries to PC Techs and give them room to do what they do best.

    Very easy job not much to do unless its a randomly busy day

    Cons

    Very boring job all I did was get hounded to get more "rewards customers"

    Pros

    I've worked at three different stores, all in the same district and I've found each store really is like a family. Closeness and good company have always made my years at Staples enjoyable.

    Cons

    Being pro-active and taking initiative is not always rewarded the way it should be. In my experiences, it earned me the responsibility to keep everything in check, including my lead and fellow co-workers, without a higher pay or position in sight. I was expected to "do" much more work than everyone else. It was unfair.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Set a bar of expectation that EVERYONE must meet and if they don't, enforce consequences. Treat your employees fairly and make sure they are responsible for their own work and job titles.
