    Pros

Lots of education available, as long as you make sure to ask for it, push for it, and take charge. Customer service oriented, and willing to reward and recognize those who reflect company values.
Great systems in place to keep the store organized and orderly.
Selling emphasis on creating a relationship with the customer through finding the right fit, not getting the most money possible from each sale.

    Cons

Employee hours constantly fluctuate. Often asked to do things that are not within the scope of your position. Not enough emphasis on maintaining a standard appearance or baseline cleanliness of the store.

    Advice to Management

Truly value your employees. The better you treat them, the better they treat the customer, the better your profit. See them as real people, and treat them how you'd want to be treated. Put more effort into finding out who in your stores has what it really takes to be the next big thing, and do everything you can to encourage them.

  2. It was very stressful to deal with annoying customers for just a low pay.

    Pros

-staples can help pay for college
    -10% discount
    -management was fair

    Cons

    -increase pay
    -increase hours
    -zero career opportunities

    Advice to Management

Increase the pay and increase payroll to give more hours to copy and print associates. The type of work that we do is not worth the amount of pay we receive. Customers do not understand that a copy machine will not print their original paper exactly as it is. Please do something about this.
