    I have been working at Staples part-time (less than an year)

    Pros

    They hired me when I was pregnant. They gave me a chance when no one else would. They worked with me. One of my managers even offered to bring me a chair so I could sit down while I wasn't working on the register! I have never been treated with more respect or understanding by anyone. If I had morning sickness, people were jumping to take over for me and to help me out.

    Cons

    I really don't have anything negative to say.

    Pros

    Great corporate structure....Great charity giving campaign. Gave $7000 to two of the charities I believe in.

    Cons

    Micro manage sales people to the point of calling them out in front of their peers for not hitting metrics of 8 appts, 3 bids, 2 closes and 50 mailers a week. Very poor customer service with hunter/farmer approach. Hunters are not allowed to reach out to clients they close...then those client's programs are changed...clients got back to me saying what I initially promised was not being upheld by the farmer.
