    Pros

Committed to customer service - empowers CSR's to handle customers every need - management style is focused on both the customer as well as the employee - asks often for employee feedback as to what management can do to improve the workplace - beautiful, clean and well maintained building

    Cons

Every call center employee would like to make more money, but it's the nature of the industry.

I have been working at Staples part-time (more than 3 years)

    Pros

The ONLY pro about this company was my wonderful coworkers who feel my pain.

    Cons

Wage is horrible. Your yearly raise could be 5 cents. Management is immature and under trained. Favoritism. Understaffed. Be expected to run an entire department by yourself, with no help from the clueless managers who like to sit in the office ignoring your pages while they paint their nails. If you decide to work in the copy center, you better get some muscles because you're also expected to be a UPS man. Be prepared to load over 50 heavy UPS packages onto a U-Boat with ten customers snarling and staring at you the whole time. Basically, you're on your own.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

If it wasn't for the one's who wear the polos, this company would be absolutely nothing. While you're home with your family on thanksgiving, or even during a hurricane... we're the ones making you money. Respect for your employees goes a long way.
