I worked at Starbucks

Pros

It has good benefits for this type of job, hours are (somewhat) flexible and nonstandard, for those who are into that. You also get some good perks (free drinks!)

Cons

There's a lot of red tape. It also really depends on what store you work at -- some are better than others. The pay is ok for part time but not really for a full time job.

I have been working at Starbucks

    Pros

Benefits are amazing (way better compared to others).
    Job is fun!
Fast-paced. (makes the day fly by)
Never bored (when you finally get a break from customers you are running to stock and clean)

    Cons

Very high expectations from management for the pay you receive.
Don't expect management to praise you.
Grow thick skin because customers can be extremely rude!

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

    Start sucking up early!
Don't let the pay hold you back from being the very best you can be because you won't excel.

I have been working at Starbucks

    Pros

Great, work life balance with career advancement. Good Pay with higher income potential as you move up in the company

    Cons

Working on the holidays when necessary and trying to get everything done in a 40 hour work week is tough but it goes back to making sure you have a great work life balance.

    Advice to ManagementAdvice

Keep doing what you are doing. I am excited and proud to be a apart of such a great company that is always giving back.
