Starbucks has a strong company culture.

Current Employee – been working at Starbucks

ProsYou get to hang out in a coffee shop while you are working.
They treat their people well.
They lack retirement benefits.

ConsToo many meetings and conference calls.
Very large organization which can be a negative.
Politically correct to a fault.
Support center in Seattle can be out of touch at times with field operations.

Advice to Senior ManagementToo many changes and new initiatives generated on regular basis. These can hamper field operations and overwhelm personnel. Many initiatives have not been sufficiently tested prior to their introduction.
